No comments on the R1? No comments on how the federal ammo shot out of it
or a look at the groups it shot? Was the group that bad? No comments on the
comfortech stock? I really like the R1 and want to see/hear thoughts on its
performance. He did get his elk

wish I could afford a ranch hunt like this one. Look at these
clowns……they didn’t break a sweat or get their boots
    dirty………that’s ranch hunting

Nice bull I agree with the comments below about private land and not really
an effort of these hunters to go find them from what they show. But I would
do it in a heart beat if I could. I have been trying to get a bull for
twenty years on public ground with my bow and nothing yet. I just wish it
was not a rich mans sport but it is what it is

I need a synthetic stock for my 20″ R1, walnut wood stock just too pretty
for the rugged Oregon coastal terrain. Maybe wrap it up is camo tape… Are
people jealous of the rifle or the “guided hunt” either way elk hunt is
toughest hunt in most NW region of US

Man what a beautiful Bull. Was pretty amazing to see that Elk take a 30-06
through both lungs and not even flinch. I would really like to know what
weight bullet and type he was shooting. If it was a partition or boat tail?
The R1 is a rifle I would really like to try. Boddington wrote an article
on them a couple of years ago and he was pretty complimentary on the
accuracy and reliability. He took one of the first ones in 338 win mag to
Africa hunted plains game. He was very impressed.

Great Video and Hunt , the Rifle seemed to work perfectly for you so the R1
may be another semi for hunters to think about .
