Nice to hear another wingbone yelper. My father & I make & use them
exclusively as well as our own camo. No Blinds, No Decoys, No Fields/Food
Plots/Bait Stations, No Commercial Calls or Camo. We hunt Florida swamp
marsh/palmetto hell and mountains of NC, VA and WV. I have roughly 3 dozen
handmade bones, my father has close to 100. Keep practicing, the bone is a
lot more versatile than people are aware. Beside yelps, I blow minds with
cackles, clucks, purrs, kee kees and gobbles. My father commands turkeys
into range; bosses them around. Once you get the dynamics of each call
down, start thinking “emotive nuances”. It’s like bending a guitar string
to inject feeling. Same note, different story, More Good Luck to you.
    Thanks for sharing your hunts.
