another great vid man. I struck out for archery here in NC this year but
tagged 2 deer so far this year. My first during muzzle loader and one
during gun season. Sure would like to get back home to colroado soon.
Thanks for all the great videos and keep up the awesome work.

Hey, friend! Thanks for stopping by and watching the videos again. Congrats
on the 2 deer! That’s cool that you’ve got some meat in the freezer. I got
    a nice 5 x 6 bull during the 1st rifle season so I’ll be uploading a short
video/slideshow of that soon. Have a great Thanksgiving 🙂 -Todd

Yo bro I saw one of your videos, you crawling on your hands and knees with
your bow trying to shoot an elk. That inspired me and I decided to
temporarily move from Miami to Denver, Colorado… What a place but I still
miss the ocean really bad. So I live on 285 & C-470. I am also very
familiar with Summit County… I want to go for archery elk hunts this
September…..any recommendations!? I’m going spring turkey hunting
tomorrow. I’ve chosen Pike National Forest so wish me luck. Blessings…

Dude why didn’t you have a bull tag????

  5. Todd Toven May 19, 2013 at 4:07 am #

Hi, Drew. Haha…I had a bull tag for the 1st rifle season (see that video
where I killed a 5 x 6) so I could only get one “list B” tag which was an
over-the-counter cow archery tag. Thanks for watching, brother! Please
subscribe to my videos if you get a chance! -Todd

    What unit was this in?

  7. Todd Toven June 29, 2013 at 4:06 am #

    46 or 37

  8. Nick Jardine August 21, 2013 at 5:46 am #

46?? first off 46 is tied to 39 and you can only hunt these two units being
a draw only unit I know this because I just lucked out and drew an either
sex muley tag for the unit, secondly why would you hang out in 46 and not
39 which is the better of the two.. Story doesn’t add up my friend so,
    where are you really?

  9. Todd Toven August 21, 2013 at 2:49 pm #

It was unit 37. I didn’t have time to think and respond because I was
attending to one of our toddlers, so I apologize for the incorrect
statement of the possibility of 46. When I typed it, I was looking at
    something else. Settle down.

You know it! Overpriced but nice.

I’m assuming you’re going archery hunting this year? If so…I hope you get
an elk, brother! I don’t have time for archery but I have 3 muzzleloader
tags (cow elk, buck deer, and leftover doe deer), I picked up a 2nd season
    bull elk rifle OTC.

Nicely, So excited I can hardly think man! Either sex deer tag, bear tag
for unit 39 and a general either sex elk with 30th through the 6th vacation
time put in. Waiting for my new UA speed freaks in the mail today. haha

Great video. I’ve hunted in the Williams Peak area in the past. But now I
spend most of my time alone in the Eagles Nest Wilderness GMU 36 ! I call
it “Gods country”. If you ever feel the need to try some place new I would
be more then happy to put you on some really great Elk hunting hot spots
(free of course) I love spending time with like minded people. Thank you
for sharing all of your great video. TC Randy
