Fantastic hunt for all, and a great moment at deer camp afterwards. What
    could be better?
Contrasts to the hunters for some ethical kills, and for some healthy
gender rebalancing of the deer herd. Have fun with ice fishing.

Hello to all of you guys,
I have been watching your videos for quite some time now, and loved every
video, but this flintlock muzzleloader series has been my favorite so far!
The 1800s period clothing works realy well, it helps breaking the
silhouette realy good, some times it looks just like another tree in the
forest, and protects the pan from the weather like no other modern hunting
    apparel !
Thanks for posting and have a great 2015 year!

hardly wait for next year’s! If you’re ever up here in Susquehanna County
    look me up!

100 yards off-hand ! Excellent shooting. John, you sound hypothermic in
the opening segment. Time to add some fur to your outfit.

Great hunt John and congrats to you and Tim on flintlock deer. Something
magical about this time of year. Can’t wait to watch your last hunt now,
been a busy week and catching up on some good hunting videos.

great video as usual and congrats to all of you on a good season. Makes me
want to try a flintlock sometime. Yall have one of my all time favorite
hunting channels on youtube. I noticed one thing Royer said about the doe
being pregnant late in the season, just thought I’d give this perspective –
whether you kill a doe before or after she’s been bred, she won’t produce
any more fawns if she’s dead. So if you’d kill it in early season, then
kill it in late season and don’t feel guilty about it. Supposedly you can
measure the fetus length and find out when she was bred as well. Look
forward to next year’s turkey hunting videos

I love hunting with a flint lock when I target it goes off every time but
when I pull up on a deer it never goes off anything I can do to fix this
    problem

another awesome vid, but John, I hunt 2c,and also flintlock, and brother, as
you know?it was frickin cold, and you look like you’re freezing!, I know
you said in the other vid, you were surprised at how warm you were, but I’m
not buying it lol, all I kept thinking was he’s gonna get pneumonia, I
appreciate the effort tho, as a native pennsylvanian its in our heritage.
and the man cooking?, his name escapes me at the moment, but I made his one
dish with venison and bbq sauce and pineapple, and it was awesome!, I know
he used elk, but just the same.

John, I look forward to whatever comes next. Living in Costa Rica, where
nothing is in season, ever, I get a shot in the arm, solace for my soul,
when I watch the videos. Maybe someday I’ll be back in KY for some wood
    time.
