Kind of late in the day to set up your tree stands isn’t it?

  12. Leatherwoodoutdoors2 April 21, 2013 at 11:57 am #

Yeah but since they a few hours away they have to put them up when they get here.

do yor recomend setting your tree stands or blinds up one month before deer season? if so why?

  15. Leatherwoodoutdoors2 May 29, 2013 at 11:44 am #

Its all on preference. I put my stands out early because I hunt in places where deer like to bed and feel safe. If I go in and start making noise the day before they might not come around for awhile till they realize the threat is gone. In other situations it can be ok to put them out the day before if your planning on hunting travel ways instead of places deer spend most of their time.
