You always have the best knives, but with all the hunting you get to do you need them. I really envy you!!!

    @ MrKratti
I use a Ruger GP100 pistol in .357 for deer. You can use a .357 rifle or pistol here. I hunt within bow range with my pistol and I load / reload my hunting rds specially for deer.

Not as scarce as you’ve been led to believe , Winchester chambered for the 6.5mm x 55, there’s also the .264 Winchester Magnum , the 260 Remington Express all 6.5 mm calibers with lots of bullet choices for target or hunting for self loaders.. I prefer the 30 06 necked to 6.5 mm ,I have a custom M 70 Winchester in 6.5 x 06 that is a long range deer killer that drives a 155 gain bullet at over 3,000 feet per second.. Thanks

One would think these drivers would be happy to see you killing deer .. Stags and their horns don’t make very nice hood trophies from running into deer by accident.. But I suppose it’s culture from the now illegal Shogun era where seeing the open carry of weapons was considered a implied threat to others… Thanks

Why does the deer not bleed when you skin it i only see blood from the bullet wound ?

  7. TheRobrowboski April 3, 2013 at 1:43 am #

I mean in the beginning cuts

There are no large vessels in the tissues under the skin. In my style of deer dressing the muscles are more bloody than done by hanging upside down. Thanks.

    Oh that explains it thanks.

You dressed this dear more than your others. Last dear of season you are lucky to get that much. I watched your other videos and I think the buck 110 is superior to all of these fine knifes.

Hi, what dó you do with the rest of the deer parts you don’t eat,? 🙂

I guess what you mention is the remaining carcass. I leave it there and crows and foxes process it to skin and bones within a day. Thanks.
