impressed with your honesty and dedication to the animal!! As the writin at

would EVER had predicted that outcome! Please add me to the list of guys
that have no idea what her guts were doin that far forward! Nice filmin

Sucks that the meat spoiled. In the video it definitely looked like a
perfect shot. Do you suppose she flinched upon the release/ draw back of
the bow and caused the “not behind the shoulder” shot?

You can call the dec and request a dmp for the loss of a deer that is not
    good to eat

Would you elaborate on what happened to the meat that Hunter decided the
meat “was not suitable for consumption”?

Looked like a textbook shot, doesn’t make sense how it turned out

Sorry that happened, I hate the feeling. I shot one last Tuesday that I
thought was a double lung, but the arrow deflected off a rib and went back
through the guts so I had to leave and come back the next morning. A buddy
found her less than 200 yards away and I salvaged some of the meat. But I
lost a good doe on opening day due to a shot that wasn’t so great. I’m
surprised that’s where he hit her, looked just like a pocket shot on the
    video.

Better luck next year…hunting can be a learning experience for everyone

Ya sure looked tight but low. At least a grizzly didn’t jump out & rip your
face off. That is my fear here. We are at three dead & two mangled that I
    heard of this year.

that being said, you guys was dead wrong not going out there later on that
night to get that deer. That meat wound have been just fine.but you got
lazy, maybe you was editing this video because the views are more
important..I lost a little repect for you guys.

At first glance the shot looks great but keep in mind you see the back of
the arrow not the front and the camera man is in a different tree so the
angle is way different. the arrow is actually moving more left to right
than straight from the camera perspective. That’s why its always best to
film from the same tree if basing the shot placement off the footage.
