The way I look at it is we are all Hunters we just huny differently. Some
like the to get close, and some like to shoot long distance. I thought this
    was awesome great shooting.

Awesome shot! A shot that drops a bull at 1000+ yards is no joke. Don’t
understand all of the hate you’re getting below, I guess some hunters are
    jelly.

Nice shot! But this isnt hunt this is killing for pleasure nothing else!
Hunters dont do that, hunters kill for food! This guy kill the leader of
the pack just for fun and for the throphie! Dont tell us that you bring the
rest or some part of the animal in the mules because to skin an animal like
that i takes a few hours and by the sun position when you and your mates
arrived and left body its impossible to skin the piece… Animals like
these are called the leader of the pack because they are older and have
experience to protect the group, killing a leader of the pack puts the
entire group in danger..WE ARE HUMANS SO WE CAN DO ANYTHING THAT WE WANT!
    Unfortunately.

    you.

I don’t understand what part of this video shows hunting. Using technology
to take extreme shots is nothing to be proud of. I would be much more
impressed if you had taken the time and effort and stalked to bulls for a
close in shot. As a hunter, I want the game to have a chance as I have a
chance to score. What’s next, a heat seeking bullet that will drop a
magnificent animal at 2000 yards – is that hunting? And yes, I am a
    hunter.

There is such a thing as fare chase and I see none of this here. Love to
hunt but I cant see the pleasure in killing an animal from over 1000 yards
I’d want to see its eyes and the snot on its nose this is kind of cowardly.

This is not hunting, this is only shooting, zero stalking abilities here.
Bet you left most of the meat to rot.

That this is considered “hunting” sucks…The animal had zero chance, but I
guess that’s the point. You don’t need to kill to prove that you’re a man.
I just don’t understand the purpose of killing wild animals for anything
other than subsistence food concerns. But, hey, I’m a vegetarian so I think
    killing any mammal sucks.

    Niiicee shot

  14. mrwildbf June 21, 2014 at 3:35 pm #

Yep, nice shot but I don’t really consider this hunting. There aren’t many
hunting skills being out to work here; it’s more like target practice. I
guess as long as you used as much of the animal as possible and enjoyed
yourself then that’s all that matters.

I really don’t know what all the fuss is about. I lived in Alaska for 5
years, and Moose was all I ate in the winter. I don’t care if you shoot it
from 10 yards or 1,300 yards, as long as you hit the vitals. Animals are
food. The people who think we don’t have a place in the food chain are the
same ones who think we came from apes. So if you think I’m an animal, why
    can’t I eat other animals? I’m like a lion, a top predator. I wasn’t born
with fur, fangs and claws, I can’t run faster than 16MPH, and I can’t swim
faster than 4FPS. But men were born with brains and those brains have given
us fishing hooks and precision rifles. Nature has the advantage and we’ll
    always be playing catch-up.

Guys what a great video!…Thanks for sharing and don’t listen to all the
bullshit whining from all the “Tree Huggers” and “Doo Gooders” trying to do
the “RIGHT” thing and save mankind and the world!!!!!!…Hunting is a
ingrained part of mankind and thats the way its gona stay for thousands of
years to come, today we have advanced technology to ensure a instant
kill!….So Don’t waist your time debating back and forth with therm,
rather go and Hunt with your friends and enjoy what has been given to
us!….People that can not see “Balance” in life still has a long road in
front of them, hopefully they can find some light in this lifetime, but
thats there own personal problem they have to deal with!….In the meantime
carry on hunting and enjoying the Great Outdoors!

I like how they roll in a team thats all decked out in camo shooting
animals over 1000yds…That’s not hunting at all.. that’s long range live
target practice.. You should be wearing sky blue outfits with cloud
pictures so that way when you crest a peak you don’t silhouette!!
lol.. Its amazing what thousands of dollars put into a weapon is capable
    of..

as a long range shooter myself, i gotta admit this is a very nice
shooting!.but till this day i still can’t figure out the main point of
hunting…what’s the use of shooting an animal & then leaving it for
nothing? if you’re only trying to be a hot shot, why not shooting some
paper targets instead of killing innocent animals? with all due respect, i
really love long range shooting but i really prefer shooting some paper
targets! please can someone explain the purpose and the use of hunting
    (beside for food concerns)?!

I’m interested by how many of the people advocating that stalking and not
using modern technology is the only way to hunt. How many of those people
use the latest and greatest tree print, anti odor camo, the latest firearm
technology, (I consider these to be ANY scoped rifle with a high velocity
metallic cartridge including the “ol’ 30-30”), the newest transportation
technology (i.e. a motor vehicle, and if not a firearm then the latest in
compound “archery” equipment. I also wonder how many of them hunt in the
northwest, where honestly, 1100 yds is easily viewable by both man and
beast. Here in MT, you might not get an opportunity to close on an animal
from that distance and considering your average “spot and stalk” hunt here
can consist of a half dozen miles up and down ridges and valleys, 1100 yds
is tempting. Especially when that same distance to the animal on the ground
    could be another 1/2 mile.

Now please don’t misunderstand, I believe any hunting techniques that end
in clean ethical kills are valid, just maybe a bit of introspection before
condemning others could be beneficial for yourself and others. Hell, again,
here in MT, the native people in the area would just drive several bison
off of a cliff with horses to obtain food, that seems less skillful than
dawn the coyote cloak and putting an arrow through one at 10 yds but hey,
it worked and was, by definition, hunting. Just stuff to think about, not
trying to insult anyone or their ideals.
