kids are better at shooting at this range.. less hand shaking.. but wait til he starts to jack off.. he wont be able to hit at 500 yards..

Nice shot kid. When you found the bull at the steep of an incline, how long did it take you to haul it out of there?

To be called a pole smoker by another reader shows the maturity of some people. I have guided many hunters and hunt now and have hunted for 30 years. I have shot long distance at animals and have killed them but long distance where you have some what control of a shot is 500 yards.

To where its about hold over and Wind Compensation . When your shooting at 1000 yards plus, your calculating in windage , temperature, elevation and even there’s a slight pull of earth’s rotation on a bullet, pulling it a tiny bit right or left. Seldom considered by some. So shooting at these distances should be done by trained and very accurate shooters. On one last note on this topic if i was to shoot at this distance and farther i would use a 338 Lapua Magnum.

you didn’t watch the whole video he said they have a 12″ gong set to 1300 yards they hit all day all night all the time 100% of the time without fail. that is practice enough. the age of the shooter is irrelevant its the capability of the equipment.

Shut the fuck up! The elk is dead right. If there was something behind the elk do you really think he would of pulled the trigger?

  12. harry bomba June 17, 2013 at 10:02 am #

i am pretty sure its still hunting and how is it unethical the elk died fast.

  13. harry bomba June 17, 2013 at 10:05 am #

bad shot, you wounded it before it died, Ive put a bullet right through an elks heart from a little over 1000 yards but im 27 and been hunting my whole life not 13

  15. MezGoHard June 17, 2013 at 3:13 pm #

you generally have to wound something in order for it to die. if its dead, its dead

  16. barerobert June 17, 2013 at 3:14 pm #

There is no way in hell the kid took that shot and hit. He is lying there tense and way out of position to be able to deal with the recoil. I satill call this FAAAAAAAAAAAAAAKE! 😉

unethical for many reasons. One major one its not a true fair chase hunt. Shooting any animal over 1000 yards isn’t fair chase.

Everybody needs to shut up. holy shit good job kid thats a hard shot for anybody to make. it takes complete control over your body and mind and none of these idiots would ever understand that. Its only unethical if youre incompetent, age has nothing to do with skill behind a rifle. Im 16 years old and last year I shot a black bear at 898 yards with a 300 rum, anyone want to come complain to me about it? Good job kid thats very impressive.

  19. spartanbatter50 June 17, 2013 at 7:44 pm #

You dont hunt, i know you dont. because every single hunter knows that not every animal just drops in its tracks every time, even on a perfect heart shot ive seen elk run for 150-200 yards.

  20. Jack Hoff June 17, 2013 at 8:43 pm #

Nice. What kind of scope was that?

  21. XPsilocybinDream June 17, 2013 at 11:37 pm #

then you sir are the person that obviously doesnt hunt if you dont know something that simple. go cry to someone else about your mental problems kid

  22. CODskillz333 June 18, 2013 at 6:53 pm #

Everybody just shut up this isn’t fake u guys are just making ur selfs think its fake cuz ur jealous if u could do it u wouldn’t think its fake I’ve been hunting ever since I was 6 and now I’m 12 so I know that this is not fake because u obviously saw that the elk had stumbled so that means its a good hit if he didn’t stumble with that shot he would be on steroids so this isn’t fake I have more reasons if u want me to say them this kid is a great hunter
