Fabulous video for quickly harvesting the most meat possible, especially in
    the hot summer months.

Great demonstration. Lot of hunters lose meat to heat, gotta get it cooled
down asap so the meat doesn’t spoil.

does that hair on the skin get in the meat?

“You are wasting so much meat!!!” Ok, here is some basic math.

Lets say there is 40 pounds of edible meat on a hog and you have 10 hogs.
Its 95 degrees outside in the middle of summer. In total you have 400
pounds of edible meat. The hogs are already dead waiting to be harvested.

The way the guy is showing in the video is getting say 30 pounds of meat
per hog. So 300 pounds of meat total at the end in the cooler and safe to
    eat.

If he nitpicked around and got all 40 pounds of meat per hog, he would get
done with three hogs and the rest would be spoiled. You need to remember
the hogs are already smelly. So if he nitpicked he would have a total of
    120 pounds of meat.

So what do you choose, 300 pounds of meat or 120 pounds?

Obviously the 300 pounds is the better choice and that is why this guy made
the video. It is the same logic with spending a million dollars to protect
one child when if you had used that money to build farms to feed the poor
you could have saved a thousand lives.

Also, the meat is never wasted. Pretend he slaughtered 10 hogs and left
them in the woods… the wild animals and the rest of Gods creation would
have a bountiful feast. There is no waste. In fact, using logic, killing
hogs saves agricultural property which gives food to the hungry thus saving
lives. So, killing hogs = saving lives.

PLEASE USE LOGIC. Thank you. God gave you a brain, use it!

This has GOT to be THE most WASTEFUL butchering of a food animal I have
EVER WITNESSED. Absolutely SHAMEFUL and SINFUL !
This video not only advocates WASTING 70% of the hog, but does so in order
    to obtain SAUSAGE MEAT !
    Tenderloin – WASTED !
    RIBS – WASTED !
    Hocks & jowls – WASTED !
    Belly – WASTED !
    Pork fat – WASTED !
    Hide – WASTED !
ALL in the name of preventing Brucellosis ! I was under the impression that
PORK was supposed to be COOKED before eating. WHEN DID THAT CHANGE ? ? ?

A note on Personal Protection… am I the only one who cringed at the
thought of this guy proceeding to process these hogs in the heat of
summer…. potentially with infection… and he DIDN’T PUT ON EYEWEAR to
prevent blood-splatter from potentially transferring disease spreading
pathogens into contact with his eyes!?

Just what I was looking for. Thanks

This has got to be the filthiest mixing of even the pigs dirty shitty feet
into the cooler with edible meat [ not by me ]. A quick skinning of the pig
would have kept the filth away from the meat.

“NO BACTERIA” ha…with throwing the hide on quarters into his cooler, he
has plenty of bacteria and manure from the hooves

Could also clean up the body and rotisserie it for the ribs.

but, happy when I ate it..

    I like this guy

Its funny how he talks about getting disease from the hog but he puts the
meat in the cooler with the skin and feet still on, now the whole cooler is
contaminated and wasteful of the hog still a lot of meat to take from it
this video should have been named ”how to waste hog meat”!

Great job. Lots of idiots commenting here about wasting meat. They likely
have never had wild pig and think it tastes just like the pork they buy in
the store. I like to skin them out before quartering though.
